Save a Child

Through our collective responsibility initiative, tapping on our broad network of stakeholders and their contacts, this health focused program has raise well over $5,000,000.00, for children with critical medical conditions. Worthy of note and most prolific in this category, is Okiki’ Olawuyi, a 3 year old girl who was born with barely a skull Congenital Cranial Deficiency. In the shortest possible time, over $300,000.00 was realized for her surgery, which was performed for the first time, in medical history. She is still alive and recovering. Other vulnerable children with heart conditions, kidney problems, domestic abuse/accident victims, prosthetic limb(s) requirements, tumors growths, and Ali Ahmadu Chibok, Spinal Cord injury victim of Boko Haram, in Chibok LGA of Borno State. All have benefitted from “save a child” activities.
In line with ensuring that vulnerable children have equal chances of survival, growth and development, Public Health Campaigns have been carried out across 5 states. Part of the exercises included administering de-worming medication to over 27,000 children in very rural communities. Up to 4000 nursing and expecting mothers also benefitted from on the spot ante natal consultations, while over 3000 insecticide treated nets were distributed to various households and orphanages.
